the sugar trade on the island of Haiti, Eric Girault has captures the last
remains of these grand dames, each one reflecting their former owners fond memory
and grand style -- there is nothing sadder than
a dear house falling apart from neglect and disrepair -- and so Girault has from
memory and those remains still standing has given us a wonderful record of someones

style of broad strokes of light and magic.
